The new WSOB online backgammon season kicks-off with the opportunity to become the 2011 WSOB Champion.
- The tour will be run as a series of five major online tournament Stops followed by a finale, the WSOB Championship, where the 2011 Champion will be crowned. The Championship will be streamed live at www.worldseriesofbackgammon.comwith commentary provided by leading players of the world game.
- Twelve players will qualify for the '16 draw' WSOB Championship through the WSOB Race: Places 5 - 12 in the Race will start in Round One and Places 1 - 4 will start Round 2 (i.e. the Quarter Final)
- Race points are accrued for each match won on the tour (including Weekly Qualifiers). Format.
- The WSOB Champion will win an official WSOB board worth €2,400 plus the coveted WSOB Gold Cube®

The five Stops all start at 7pm CET with a buy-in of €55 and a 100% prize pool return and will be played exclusively online at www.bwin.com/wsob. The WSOB Championship is limited to the top twelve players in the Race. Weekly €5 sub-qualifiers start on Sunday October 23rd
